I know of no other better evening escape from the day’s blunders and mishaps, allied with the need for a recharge of one’s spiritual batteries, than your Compline. Down here, in The Great White Southland, the tradition encompasses sparse Evensong Services, whereas in the days prior to television, the availability of 7.00 p.m. Worship was relished. While most will not now admit it, inner Reflection is paramount for a balanced life.
