In the opening line of his poem, ”Endymion”, John Keats declared that ”a thing of beauty is a joy forever”, and I like to think that, along with everything Rodgers and Hammerstein listed in the song ”My Favorite Things”, that particular aforementioned quote applies to the weekly Compline service at Saint Mark’s!
Morning Prayer is already part of my daily routine, but I also appreciate having Compline as I end my day.
With all of that being said, in this time of social media and other technological advances, I hope more
people will discover this hidden gem and appreciate its simple beauty.
